Martinsville and Henry County are located in Southwest Virginia close to the North Carolina border. In 1777 Henry County was named after its founder Patrick Henry and Martinsville was established as a seat for the county in 1791.

This area has growth and potential with new businesses arriving yearly and taking root in our town. With a combined population of 64,433 (as of 2020) this area is known for city feels with a hometown touch.

The growth of Martinsville, with thousands of tourist visiting each year, is contributed to the Martinsville Speedway. At 0.526miles and the smallest track on the NASCAR circuit this paperclip-shaped track continues to shape our economy and expansions.

Other local areas that are often visited in this area is the Virginia Museum of Natural History, Philpott Lake, and Hooker Field just to name a few.
